Otto Dix exhibition at the Museum of modern art, Passau Passau (tvo). Otto Dix is one of the most important German artists of the 20th century. He was considered an excellent draughtsman and left more than 6,000 drawings and sketches. Also created paintings and watercolors, which are reminiscent of works from the Renaissance, as well as several portraits. Although his work for stylistic diversity is characterized, especially his war pictures have made him known.
On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the death of the painter and graphic artist, the Museum of modern art in Passau together with the Dix collection of the cultural foundation of ZF Passau presents a unique overview of the artist’s work.
